I dream of a CANDY

Sugary, sugary, sugary,
I dream of a candy,
When I am hungry.

Guests were in,
Table was laid with dishes,
And some candies,
Along with my grin.

I saw the pink candy lying
On white plate,
Looked as if my heart
Went towards it flying.

I murmured again…

Sugary, sugary, sugary,
I dream of a candy,
When I am hungry.

Interrupted my hubby,
Between me and my sugary.
He had a twisted smile,
I felt weak and vile.

Oh! Dear,
Wanted to grab you.
But my fear for you,
Was standing so near.

I thought for you…

Sugary, sugary, sugary,
I dream of a candy,
When I am hungry.

The urge was so high,
I held my belly,
With my grip so tight,
Oh! My candy, goodbye.

It was last on dish,
Went into the mouth
Of my little sis,
And I turned into a cold fish.

Sadly, I said…

Sugary, sugary, sugary,
I dream of candy,
When I am hungry.

I wish and wished,
I was not plumpy,
Today it made me grumpy,
Missed and pissed.

With a frown, I pronounced,

Sugary, sugary, sugary,
I dream of candy,
When I used to feel hungry.

Love your hubby, My dear honey

Husband: Love your hubby,
Since you have no choice,
My dear honey.

I set up alarm,
For you at night.
To awake you fresh,
Filled with glow and charm.

Love your hubby,
Since you have no choice,
My dear honey.

Wife: Oh! Yes, you also help in preparing,
Meals every time.
Though the kitchen is later left,
At my end for assembling and cleaning.

I have to love my hubby,
Since I have no choice,
My dear honey.

Husband: Can I get a cup of tea?
Wife: No please.

Husband: Huh!! I get tea made on order,
Just to sit with you,
When we are back from office,
And want to discuss office disorder.

Love your hubby,
Since you have no choice,
My dear honey.

Wife: Making lunches and dinners seldom,
Is not an easy task.
By the way, your critiques,
Are not at all welcome.

Husband: Oh! Cutie pie,
I am there for you always,
My ways are just to,
Make your skills improve.

Love your hubby,
Since you have no choice,
My dear honey.

Wife: I love you,
But please stop snoring,
As my sleep,
Flew away in a minute or two.

Husband: You never understood me,
I snore,
Because I am,
Relaxed after marrying my bee.

Love your hubby,
Since you have no choice,
My dear honey.

Wife: So far, I can’t remember,
When did you wish me?
Anniversary was wished by you,
In July instead of December.

What happened dear?
Quiet? Say something,
From the core of your heart,
To whisper in my ear.

I know, I have to love my hubby,
Since I have no choice,
My dear honey.

Woman of Today

Woman is a power substance,
But is there any acceptance.
We talk of equality and equal opportunity,
But isn’t she still a lost identity.
Has used her voice,
Dreamt and pursued to her virtue,
To achieve some value.
Worthiness is still on its way,
Some have accepted the ray.
Priorities are meant only for her,
Yet to find a way to achieve her soar.
Home is her heart,
But what about her inner dart.
She wants to be known,
But not as a mere home unknown.
Her eyes are looking for some support,
To put a firm foothold.
Give her this little,
And get in return a little more,
In the form of love and care,
And lots of dreams to share.

How to celebrate love day?

by The Champa Tree
We are not running behind schedule. It's just that TCT thinks every day is a love day. Besides, we wanted to capture a sweet little conversation about Valentine's Day between a mother and her child. Check out this really cute poem about V-Day and a confused child written by Neha Tandon from Neha-Novice! Mumma, What is Valentine’s Day? I am very confused, How to celebrate this day?

Upbringing

Embedding values play a major role,
In upbringing a child with chore.
Parents are duty bound,
With perseverance all around.
Togetherness and ties,
Bring in all wise.
Encouragement to develop skills,
Can certainly uplift the child’s will.
Listening and expressing your thoughts,
Brings together everyone a lot.
Limits are to be taught,
So that the child is not lost.
Appreciation and rewards,
Are child’s greatest swards.
Teachers are included in the role,
Not to forget their crucial mode.
Politeness and manners,
Making them beautiful from soul.
Lastly in the end,
Character has to be established till the end.
Making your child bright,
Like a smiling flower in the sight.
Embedding values play a major role,
Please not forget your chore.

Character Counts!

Character, the most important form,

Should exist in every norm.

Whether a girl or a boy, it defines a self entity,

And is equally important for one’s personality.

It is simply a fleece of snow,

On which every mark will show.

Mirror shows reflection,

Character shows inner confliction.

Up bringing is a part,

To portray your own aspect and art.

Character, the most important form,

Should exist in every norm.

Election results came out to be very fair

Election, Election everywhere,
Results came out to be very fair.

AAP declares for its dream victory,
Whereas BJP is flattened by AAP’s majority.
Congress after ruling for more than a decade,
Wins zero seats as a fate.

Election, Election everywhere,
Results came out to be very fair.

Kejriwal was showered with flowers,
He takes oath to take Delhi afar.
BJP registered a nightmare,
Kiran Bedi lost the chair.

Election, Election everywhere,
Results came out to be very fair.

“We will always walk on the path of truth”,
Kejriwal said to the cheering youth.
Long have people waited for this,
Truth was levied with such bliss.

Election, Election everywhere,
Results came out to be very fair.

PM Modi congratulated the winner,
Assuring support in every sphere.
We wish luck to Kejriwal,
To set Delhi as an example for all.

Election, Election everywhere,
Results came out to be very fair.

Oh! My love, “When will you propose?”

There are thorns with a rose,
Oh! My love, “When will you propose?”

I don’t want a pink one,
It stands for appreciation.
Appreciation is always in your words,
I am happy with it’s only two thirds.

There are thorns with a rose,
Oh! My love, “When will you propose?”

I don’t want a yellow one,
We are already friends for a ton.
Friendship with you is happiness,
Which I will cherish with all my craziness.

There are thorns with a rose,
Oh! My love, “When will you propose?”

I don’t want a white one,
It’s for purity, peace and reverence.
All suggest us to keep peace,
But fights between us can’t be ceased.

There are thorns with a rose,
Oh! My love, “When will you propose?”

What I want is a ROSE,
Filled with poetic prose.
Oh! My love, “Give me a RED ROSE,
The day you propose.”

Happy ROSE Day!!

Wishes Forever

When we met,

And today when we are together,

Is a long journey of sheer hope and love.

Here hoping that,

This hand in hand journey,

Continues forever and ever.

Words have fallen short,

But would swear,

That by any circumstances,

Will always stand beside you.

And once again saying it to you:

“ May all your wishes come true,

In such a way,

That even the stars’ beam,

Fall short in front of you.”

HINGLISH, a very funny language

Hinglish is a very funny language,
It’s a club of English and Hindi sandwich.
I often get confused,
When both languages are fused.

Hinglish is a very funny language...

Everyone is ‘First Class’,
When ‘How are you?’ is asked.
Na’ has become a suffix,
This is quite a fix.

Hinglish is a very funny language...

Poor Joke” is a term,
Used only by us.
And ‘toh’ is the most poular,
Of its time to discuss.

Hinglish is a very funny language...

He is my ‘Sabse” best friend,
Hinglish is a ‘Sabse” funny blend.
Good Name’ doesn’t exist,
Atleast lets finish this mist.

Hinglish is a very funny language...

Boss” can be find everywhere,
From waiter to conductor to the person on chair.
Caught between the two,
Make a way with ‘Hinglish” flu.

Hinglish is a very funny language...
It’s a club of English and Hindi sandwich.

Life after Marriage

I had left my home,
My dear and known.
Entered a life,
Which was completely unknown.

With fear and dreams,
All together,
Not to mention,
The aim was to gather.

Not only love,
But care was up most.
Which I had seen,
In my parents the most.

To my surprise,
Which I had never thought,
With God’s grace,
I was given love with no cost.

After months,
Of my wedding today,
I feel happy,
And privilege to be a part of his today.

Spirit of Life

February 4th, is World Cancer Day. I salute to all cancer survivors, fighters and those who have lost their life to Cancer. Here is a poetry depicting the Spirit of Life and Bond of Friendship.

I woke up early today,
Because it was important.
To wish her the day,
Hoping she finds her gift significant.

Last night,
When clock struck twelve.
I hurriedly ran in the twilight,
To ask the stars for her longer survive.

She was under dejection,
With her life.
But her art never went under suppression,
Although it came out to be stronger and fine.

I held her hand,
Tight enough, not to let her go.
And kissed her band,
Which I had tied years ago.

Our friendship means a lot,
It is a strong bond of trust.
My prayers for her are on every dot,
We have built this relation from crust.

I wished her good day,
With wishes filled in my arms.
Hope she conquers the world someday,
And her lost smile arrives with a charm.

Music

Music in my ears,
Everytime, I wish to hear.
Touches my soul,
Deep down when it rolls.

Mystic Mountains

Down the stream rolls,
From the mystic mountains.

Reaching the plains,
Just like a troll.

Standing up high,
With my open arms.
Looking up there,
Wish could touch the sky.

I love creating both :)

Mother and her Child

A mother with her child,
Sometimes go wild.
Babbling of her baby,
Makes her go crazy.
Nurse, massage, bathe, clean,
And sing a lullaby, till she becomes lean.
She still manages to put a smile,
After all distress and mess up life.
Every day, she is eager to stay awake,
And do anything for his sake.
He is a new world to her,
And her love has no bound to swear.
But, yes sometimes they go wild,
A mother with her child.

Love Story

I was there, sitting high,
At a bar, in a resort and was touching sky.
Sky had become my limit,
But deep down, I was lonely and timid.
Noon, that day was sunny and bright,
Unlike my dreams, that had become out of sight.
With a blow of smoke out of my mouth,
I turned around to be shocked and rout.
‘Was she the same?’ my heart did a question,
‘Yes’ or ‘No’ didn’t matter, nor did any suggestion.
The smoke spread between our faces,
It was more like the past revolving cases.
I was stuck, my eyes wide open,
She was numb and our heart had revolving oceans.
Again the words were missing,
But our empathy was touching.
She was on the verge of leaving,
And my heart was not so giving.
Her eyes for the first time were on me,
Ongoing and seeing deep down of me.
She was not mine,
Nor could be, with any help of divine.
She already had a shoulder to cry,
And hand to hold, life to enjoy.
Leaving me there alone,
She swept away with her known.
A tear fell from right,
I asked God for my right.
There was no reply,
I was left far behind with my heart’s cry.
